REVIEW:
The National Education Association is an organization dedicated to advancing
the cause of public education in America. It says it has "rededicated itself to
advancing a quality agenda for America's public schools." This site certainly strives towards
that goal with many optimistic areas including "Good Schools, Good Students", a section devoted
to improving American public schools, and, "Shining Examples of Public School Change".
And, while the membership of the NEA is comprised of anyone who works for a public school
district, a college or university, or any other public institution devoted primarily to education
this site has a lot of information for parents and communities interested in improving America's public schools.
