REVIEW:
These ready-to-use lesson plans and activities, provided by NASA,
are all standards-based and age-appropriate. Topic areas include: Sky, Planetary Objects,
Apparent Motion, Patterns, Stars, Matter, Energy, and more. Themes include: Science as an
Inquiry, Technology Connections, Personal/Social Connections, Nature
and History of Science, and Unifying Concepts and Processes. Users
must first choose a grade level to display the highlighted patches on
the interactive quilt. When a highlighted patch is clicked, a summary of the available lesson plans
is displayed in the box at the bottom of the page. Each lesson plan or activity can be downloaded in
.pdf format.
