Brief Description
Students work together to find paper or cardboard eggs hidden in the classroom. Although originally designed for ESL students, this activity may be used in language arts classes or adapted for use in foreign language classes.
Objectives
Students describe (orally and in writing) the precise location of an object.

Materials Needed
Paper or cardboard eggs, an answer sheet or notebook paper, and a team reflection sheet for evaluation. Patterns for Easter eggs, the reflection sheet, and an answer sheet, as well as additional materials, are available on The Classroom Easter Egg Hunt Web site.

Assessment
At the end of the hunt, you may correct papers aloud with students or pick up the papers and grade them. Then have students fill out the group reflection sheet available on The Classroom Easter Egg Hunt Web site.
