FirstUSA
Education World and FirstUSA teamed-up to bring educators something we can all use - MONEY. These monies are available through the new "Grants for Educators" program. These grants are funded through utilization of the new Education World VISA Card.
- Through innovative programs, like the "Grants for Educators" program, corporate sponsors and Education World hope to provide the education community with as many resources as possible to further facilitate the education process.
- First USA is very committed to education and its continued enhancement. First USA believes that a strong educational system is the cornerstone for the future success of today's youth. It is with this belief in mind that First USA is actively involved with education initiatives in its headquarters state, Delaware. Involvement ranges from encouraging and supporting employees to participate as school mentors for at-risk youth to Dick Vague, chairman and CEO of First USA, chairing a public/private educational council, whose goal is to aggressively promote initiatives that promote and strengthen the educational system.
- Those interested in a grant should complete the on-line application describing their proposed projects, listing expenses, expected results and outcomes. For full instructions, please refer to the GRANT APPLICATION FORM (http://www.education-world.com/grants/grant_app.txt)
