Guide to Healthy Snacking
Students, faculty, administrators, and parents from Montclair Kimberley Academy in Montclair, New Jersey, collaborated to prepare a booklet called "Nutrition Rules." The pamphlet offers students advice on choosing healthy snacks.

Lower Standards Feared
Education officials in California and other states say they either may have to lower their standards or risk losing millions in federal aid under the No Child Left Behind Act. States in which not all students are proficient in English and mathematics within 12 years can lose federal money. But some state officials say the reason not all students are meeting the standards is because those standards are very rigorous.
